His background in other healthcare areas gives him a unique understanding of whole-body wellness, but it was dentistry that captured his heart. As someone naturally inclined toward smiling, Dr. Delone finds genuine fulfillment in helping patients discover their own smile confidence.

Dr. Martha Silva’s dental journey began remarkably early—at just five years old, she set her sights on becoming a dentist. This early passion led her to pursue dental assisting courses during high school and work as an orthodontic assistant throughout college. Her dedication culminated in earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
Dr. Silva’s professional path took an extraordinary turn when she served as an active duty dentist with the U.S. Army. This unique experience provided invaluable mentorship in a group practice setting alongside various dental specialists, expanding her clinical capabilities and approach to treatment.
After completing her military service, Dr. Silva practiced in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood before joining our Lincoln Park team. Her recent acceptance into a prestigious two-year program through the University of Florida School of Dentistry demonstrates her commitment to continuous learning. This program, which will earn her a Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry, involves over 600 hours of advanced training across all dental specialties.
As a mother of two girls, Dr. Silva brings a natural affinity for treating children and families. Her friendly demeanor and wealth of dental knowledge make her an exceptional addition to our practice.
